2020 - Balance (Domain Back ONLINE)
Ayyye world. it feels good to touch base again. I wanted to write this blog post as a little apology for the inactivity on my blog/page here at patrickyounger.com for the better of 3 years. Partially to you guys, but more then anything to myself for not taking the time for reflection. Instead of going over the experiences, opportunities, and downfalls I've inevitably encountered in the period of 156 weeks, I'd rather focus on putting my best foot forward and going over what I

New Year, New Perspectives
"When Buildings Become Spaceships"
RA Photo & Film I really look forward to what opportunities this year holds and what new goals I can achieve, my main one being to master my camera and my craft. Also to travel for my first time and with the love of my life.
By embracing new perspectives I am able to reach this exact goals. I will be working to not only make more each month, but do more as well. Staying in that constant elevation is key.
This photo above was shot last week

Day 5/5 - The Indestructible Perspective VS The Indestructible Reflection
The final day. 5/5
THE INDESTRUCTIBLE X RA I wanted to end off strong and drop a double for today. This shoot was a HUGE success and it was probably my most creative on yet in my career. Huge thanks out to Dunc HD M for making it possible by getting the mask from the director!
The only thing I want to say about these above to photos..... is It looks lke they were shot in the same location, with him in the same spot, with a simple camera angle switch. When ACTUALLY these ar

Day 3/5 - Razor Gaze
Designer, Builder & Model: Dunc HD M. RA Photo & Film. I really wanted to achieve something unique, powerful and illustrative when shooting with this mask. The helmet itself is fairly large to scale with the movie character so it was an interesting and creative challenge to capture. I quickly adapted and brought some of the ideas I head my head to life. This image itself was made to give personality to the masks identity and with that the nature of it.
For some reason when

Bright City Lights
This image was shot on Friday, November 25th 2016. Toronto has been an incredible journey this past while, and I look forward to countless more adventures! I applied for a grant before moving here, and was awarded it after moving. This changed not only my life, but my business as well. I was able to invest in new gear, administrative, and the business itself. I plan to not only work to grow my business through photography and video but also to apply my skills to other compani

Day 5/5 - Archiac Architecture
Day 5 has finally arrived!
A full week of brand new images!!!!
I originally planned to release an image from the Indestructible shoot.... but instead I am going to dedicate all of next week for those. This week I want to end off on a architectural note, to flow with the cityscapes i've been posting this week.
This image is of the Arch South of the Gardiner Expressway crossing the Dufferin St bridge.
When I saw this I instantly put my stuff down and had to shoot it. Th

Day 4/5 - Calm Compositions
For day 4, I wanted to pull you a little deeper into my perspective...
I strive to reach new heights, compose new angles, and create new content for my audience and clients... Sometimes when you look at things you may see or experience every day, from a new perspective it may show you a larger meaning or context.
This city has taken on me on many journeys since arriving and I anticipate many more. A lot has happened in my life this past year... From job opportunities, to

Day 2/5 - Positions of Perspective
Often I find myself breathtaken by so many forms of architecture. I become driven to observe, analyze the details and explore the intricacies of the structures. As a photographer I have a particular connection to elements like line, shape, depth, & dimension.
For the second day of this project I wanted to give you a look into how these elements of design have the power to enhance everyday life. From where we walk, to where we look, to where we sit, to where we wait... Inspi

Day 1/5 - GO
This image was taken Monday, the night of the Supermoon. This time of the year provides us with some spectacular skyscapes, but 2016 has been especially impressive and Spectacular.
Though I didn't get an image of the moon itself... What i did witness the 1st night of it was the largest moon I had ever laid eyes on. I was also lucky enough to have experienced it with the one who completes me. This breathtaking visual experience drew me to gear up my camera for the second nig
